This journey started over 10 years ago. Duane and I went to the Christmas lights at the Charlotte motor speedway and saw our first lil orbits donut machine. We were so fascinated with this donut machine that made fresh and hot donuts that we stood there for 20 minutes watching the donuts come off the conveyor belt and we looked at each other and said we need to get one of those.
At that time we had 4 kids at home and the money just wasn’t there so we put our dreams on hold.
Fast forward to 2021. We are now empty nesters and I (Dawn) decided my time in corporate healthcare (28 years)was coming to an end and I knew needed a new direction for my life. But what direction would I go? We’ve prayed and sought the Lord and the opportunity finally presented itself for us to open a mini donut concession trailer. When I tell people how the pieces just came all together it seems surreal but there is no doubt that this was all the Lord’s doing because without HIM none of this is possible.
Duane and I came up with the name and Duane came up with the color scheme - purple is for royalty and red is for the blood of Jesus…
So now after many years our journey to bring hot and fresh mini donuts to the Carolinas begins
